DECISION
ON THE APPLICATION OF PROCEDURE AND CYCLES OF VERIFICATION OF MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS IN THE LIST OF MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS THAT NEED VERIFYING
THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Pursuant to the Ordinance on Measurement dated October 06, 1999;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 06/2002/ND-CP dated January 14, 2002 elaborating the implementation of the Ordinance on Measurement;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 54/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003 defining the functions, tasks, entitlements and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Government's Decree No. 28/2004/ND-CP dated January 16, 2004 on amendments to the Decree No. 54/2003/ND-CP;
Pursuant to the Decision No. 13/2007/QD-BKHCN dated July 06, 2007 of the Minister of Science and Technology on conditions for promulgating the List of measurement instruments that need inspecting;
At the request of the Director of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality,
DECIDES:
Article 1. The verification of measurement instruments in the List of measurement instruments that need verifying promulgated together with the Decision No. 13/2007/QD-BKHCN dated July 06, 2007 of the Minister of Science and Technology shall comply with the verification procedure current Vietnam’s regulations on measurement of Vietnam.
The list of Vietnam’s regulations on verification procedure and verification cycle applicable to each measurement instruments is provided in the Appendix to this Decision.
Where a Vietnam’s regulation on measurement is superseded by a corresponding National Technical Regulation, the procedure and cycle of verification of the measurement instruments in this Article shall comply with such National Technical Regulation.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect after 15 days from the day on which it is published on the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality, Sub-department of the Standards, Metrology, and Quality of central-affiliated cities and provinces, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
