DECISION

INTRODUCING THE LIST OF NATIONAL PROJECTS CALLING FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN THE 2021 - 2025 PERIOD

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015; the Law on Amending and Supplementing certain Articles of the Law on Government Organization and the Law on Local Government Organization dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Resolution No. 50-NQ/TW dated August 20, 2019 of the Politburo regarding guidelines for completion of institutions, policies, improvement of quality and effectiveness of cooperation in foreign investment by 2030;

Pursuant to the Resolution No. 58/NQ-CP dated April 27, 2020 of the Politburo regarding the Government’s action program for implementation of the Resolution No. 50-NQ/TW dated August 20, 2019 of the Politburo regarding guidelines for completion of institutions, policies and improvement of quality and effectiveness of cooperation in foreign investment by 2030;

Article 2.The Ministry of Planning and Investment shall direct, guide and inspect the implementation of the Decision; shall direct cooperation with ministries, central and local authorities in documenting contents of projects; shall carry out communication activities to make the List known to the public; shall gather reports on promotion of projects on the List; shall review and recommend any amendment or revision of the List to adapt to the actual situation changing over time, and the budget for performing scheduled activities in accordance with regulations.

Article 3.This Decision shall enter into force as of the signature day and replace the List of national projects calling for foreign investment by 2020 issued as an annex to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 631/QD-TTg dated April 29, 2014.

Article 4.Ministers, Heads of Ministry-level agencies, Heads of Governmental bodies, Presidents of People’s Committees of centrally-affiliated cities and provinces, and other organizations and individuals involved, shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
